10.05.02

First off, I have to apologize to Cody, for only updating this site once in all of September.  Actually, that apology goes out to all my regular visitors, whom I have neglected to keep entertained for the last few weeks.  

I'm teaching myself how to use Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Freehand, and Flash, so hopefully someday this site will look a whole lot better.  Hopefully.  It's kind of going slow at the moment, but I'll figure it all out.  I mean, if Andy can do it... 

So, here's an update for everyone, but I warn you, it's not going to be pretty.

The new Beck album is really, really good.  I would highly recommend picking it up, but not at Hastings like I did, where it's $17.  I'd recommend getting it at Target, where it's $12.  I am smart.  Anyway, it's not like previous Beck albums, it's more, well, let's say "coherent" for those less willing to listen to Beck.  Go get it.

Other new music I've gotten into lately:  Boards of Canada and Squarepusher, both at John's recommendation.  Now, usually, I am reluctant to try anything that John recommends after the incident involving the rabbit and the shoe buffer, but I took a chance on these, and it paid off. Way to go, John.  Now get a job.  Zing! 

Sonja and I have been renting a lot of movies lately, but we're not dorky as that makes us sound.  Well, maybe not totally.  Tonight we watched Frailty, which was better than I expected.  I've never been that good at describing movies or what I liked about them, so I'll just recommend that you rent it for yourself.  If you've seen it already, go rent G.I. Joe the movie.  I would, but I still own it.  

I know I promised to include some pics of our apartment in this update, and we even cleaned the place up so I could do that, but then the battery in the camera died, and the place got messy again, and blah blah blah, so instead of promising to show you pictures, I'll show you a map of it.  By the way, I'm trusting you with this map, so don't anyone start stalking us now, unless you're really rich.
